- Technical Support
- What kind of technical support can I expect from WISPER?
- If you should have any trouble with your service, please contact our Support Staff. A Support technician will work with you over the phone to resolve any issues regarding your WISPER connection. In the event a WISPER tech is required to visit your location, there will be no charge incurred by the customer for any technical support involving the WISPER equipment or service. Our tech support does not monitor, configure, troubleshoot, or fix anything on a customer owned network. If a WISPER tech is called out for an on-site visit, you may be subject to a trip charge if the trouble is determined to be caused by customer owned equipment.
- Wireless Speed
- Is WISPER wireless as fast as DSL?
- Yes, in most cases WISPER can be up to 20 times faster than DSL and 100 times faster than Satellite.
- What is the difference between upload and download bandwidth?
- Receiving information from the internet, or downloading, is usually set to a higher speed since most activities require you to download much more information from the internet than you send out to the internet, or upload.
- Is your service affected by weather?
- No. Our system operates at frequencies that are less affected by the weather than some other technologies. We also build in substantial tolerances to mitigate any other unforeseen environmental interference and ensure that you should not see poor performance or downtime.
